At Andy’s House Treatment Centre, our philosophy is to provide comprehensive rehabilitation for substance use disorder (including alcohol) to help individuals and families achieve and maintain a healthy and productive lifestyle. We engage our residents in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program, which includes a variety of behavioral health services, to equip them with wellness and recovery tools they could continue to use throughout their lives. Our focus always remains on the quality of service and care.

Our unique treatment approach is based on the understanding that drug and alcohol dependence is best treated when the complexity of the condition is acknowledged. This means taking into consideration the social, cultural, psychological, physiological, and genetic factors that are involved in the development and maintenance of addiction.

Andy’s House is a non-medical facility offering addiction recovery services to its clients through combined treatment approaches such as The Minnesota 12-Step Model, Systemic Treatment Approaches, appropriate recreational and fitness activities, and a variety of therapeutic groups including psychoeducational, cognitive-behavioral, problem-solving, and interpersonal groups.

The foundation of our rehabilitation program is based on abstinence. As such, the approaches we use are designed to increase global self-worth, and promote changes in thinking, emotions, and behavior over the long term. We also encourage residents to complement their treatment at Andy’s by using additional supports such as their fellowship sponsors, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Cocaine Anonymous. We strive to provide our residents with the best comprehensive support and care possible in all of our programs.
